Question for you guys who have installed these head pipes or know of head pipes...are Bassani 2x2 dual head pipes considered to be true duals exhaust or not?

I have them installed on my 12' SG with a set of slip ons, SE breather, SE tuner overall I'm not happy with the sound. I wanted to know if I can remove the catalytic converter in the head pipe do these head pipe have a catalytic before I start to to remove the slip on and heat shields....TIa 💀

Hi Redknight ! Bassani 2x2's Do NOT have a cat in them ! All so their called 2x2 But the 2 head pipes merge into a collector as you know(very much like a FullSac Sport Pipe) They are a 2into1into2 not a True Duels ! Hope this helps !

I just installed the Bassani down under true duals yesterday. There is no merge or collector. They are completely seperate from the head to the exhaust tip. It depends on which ones you have as they make both.
