Default New header pipes

I have stock header pipes on my electra glide ultra classic. It gets really hot under my seat. I'd like to do a double walled header pipe to cut down on the heat. Any suggestions? I do have the heat shields with no catalytic converter.

I had a 15 CVO Roadglide Ultra with same issue. I did the TTS and Fullsac DX no more heat issue.

Maybe its your mufflers are not allowing enough air to pass through since you state you have no CAT installed at this time. This could cause excess heat to build up in the headers. Also any blueing on your headers further down the pipe than 6 inches from the head ports, can indicate a lean running condition.

i solved6my heat issue on my ultra classic by going with Cobra True Duals from Parts giant who has them for the lowest price plus free shipping. I now am enjoying the ride so much better without my inner thigh and behind melting from the heat from the factory Headers. I also have a stage 1 air filter and am using a Vance and hines fp3 fuelpak with a canned map so im not running lean as its advised that once you start changing things up you should at least run some type of fuel mod etc to adjust air fuel ratio
