should i use loc tight on the backing plate screws.

 

I use blue locktite on mine.

Are you talking about the breather bolts that hold the backing plate to the heads or thr standoffs that thread into the backing plate to hold the air cleaner or something alltogether different.

 

just the bolts that hold the plate to the carb.
