Listen to a Thunderheader on a stock bike as well as a built bike before you choose...if you’re looking for sound and performance this is certainly a prime candidate!

Have R&T from Fuelmoto with BTX baffle and it sounds great to me.
Don’t think it’s the loudest, but I love the way it sounds.Oh yea I do have fiberglass wrapped around the baffle.
You can run it without the wrapping around the baffle, but after listening to it with it wrapped I am happy with the way it sounds.
Believe it would be way too loud without the wrapping around the baffle.
sounds really good to the rider for me,people that ride behind me say it is f**king loud, they say it does so badass.

Loud just makes you a target for some extra revenue for some town, city or state.

New member here.
Bike is a 2018 FXRBS

I'm looking at 3 different full 2-1 systems.
The S&S Super Street 550-857
https://www.denniskirk.com/s-and-s-c...6.sku#rev-cont

The Cobra El Diablo 6475B
https://www.denniskirk.com/cobra/bla...8.sku#rev-cont

And the Firebrand Grand Prix 1032470
https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/...ku_id=10324870

These three systems are all within a couple of hundred bucks of each other and are all "Closed course only" pipes, no cats.
My 1st choice was the V&H Pro-Pipe buy it's out of production.
Firebrand's a company founded by a couple of guys who used to run V&H so I figure they're familiar with motorcycle exhaust.
S&S has been around forever
I have no experience with Cobra, but it looks nice in pictures.

I understand they'll all require a tuner and I'm comfortable with that, been tuning cars for years.
It's also a subject for a different part of this forum.

I'd appreciate any thoughts.

C
