I'm not familiar with folks that make head pipesonly ("pipes"). Most aftermarket manufacturers make slip on mufflers, or entire exhaust systems. No doubt there are companies making just head pipes, I just don't know who they might be.

I've got to ask, why do you want to change your head pipes? Your current build is not a bad one and simply changing the head pipe isn't going to do much for you.

If you don't want true duals, the stock head pipes are fine. As for sound, you need to hear it for yourself. If you hear a bagger with the right sound, ask what he's got.

mp is right. Keep your stock head pipe and go to a bike night and listen to lots of different pipes and see what you like.

...I want to replace my pipes and muffler....
I think he's using the word "pipes" loosely and actually wants to replaces his entire current exhaust system with another.
