Whats your reasoning on the Fullsac? My dyno guy is really big on these headers for the simple reason they are a stepped design. I'm not sure that makes a huge difference but I'm not in the biz knowing what he knows either.

Fullsac older "B" X-Pipe use to be a steeped header, currently the "D" X-Pipe is not. It's 1.75" thick throughout included the crossover underneath.
Welding on pipes can be a tricky thing. Pipe really needs to be normalized to prevent further cracking. It was discussed and what does need to be realized if I do weld on it. Am I married to it? Is it a reason for the manufacture not to stand behind it? Do I want to insert myself into the liability of it? It was the customers call.

Running a shop myself, I totally agree. Had it been mine I would have documented the issue with pics, had you weld it to get the tune done understanding it will most likely fail again, then dealt with the manufacturer myself when they opened the next week.
I understand not wanting to get in the middle as that situation arises fairly often too.
Ordered my FM header and Pro touring mufflers today. Should be here by Wednesday. Looking forward to getting them on and counting the days till June, when I get my 107 done.
