Magnaflow or V&H for my blackline?

Magnaflow or V&H for my blackline?
I'm going to start doing some upgrades to my bike this winter. I've bought a power vision to start, but this winter I plan on doing:
- Big Sucker stage II
- Cams (S&S 551 or SE 204)
- Pipe
As far as the pipe goes, I want something black, that looks good and has some bark but won't shatter my ear drums. I know this place is pretty infatuated with D&D and bassani pipes but I'm not really a fan of either.
I've narrowed to down to these two. They are pretty similar but does anyone have any reason that I should lean either way?
Contender #1 Magnaflow performer 2-1
Contender #2 V&H Hi Output 2-1 short
The bike it will be going on:

Thank you, that is exactly the type of input I'm looking for. If the head pipes are that much nicer, I think the decision is clear

I have MF now. I got them when they first came out when they were under the Ness name as well. I had some issues. Once the Legacy's came out I switched to them. Haven't had an issue since. They have a decent bark to them.
I was talking to the parts manager at the local HD dealer the other day. He said there have been issues with the chrome with VH.

2plus2, we think the Performer will be exactly what you're looking for in terms of appearance and sound. It has a bit more mid-range punch to it than the comparable Ness-comp system. If you have any questions about it, please feel free to drop us a call or pm anytime!
