can you just drill a new screw hole in the baffles a 1/4" forward of where it is now? otherwise cut them off.

 

Yeah I guess I could do that, also trying to put the 1.75's in I found that the 2.0's had a bar across the front you could pullon to get them out. The 1.75's dont have this. I had to remove the muffler and tap them out from the back. What a bunch of crap. I am going to my local muffler shop to have them cut down, and see if he can weld a bar across these to help get them out again.

 

I would call rush and complain.. they are great about taking care of the customer...will probably send you out new baffles.. they have done that in the past...of course you have to wait a few days but they ship fast for problems...the ones without the bar in the front are the old style.. a lot of people were having troubles with them and they started to put the bar in... call them before you go cutting the baffles if they dont fit i would bet rush will make it right.. and they do not sell to the public so no worries that you bought somewhere else since they wouldnt sell to you directly anyway... call them

 

I had the 1.75 baffles sound great but some popping on decel, bought some 2.25 and I had to modified the hole because they did not fit right but I got them in the popping got worse and lost the bottom end, but on the freeway they ran great but I was not happy so I took them out and put the 1.75 back in and sold the 2.25 on eBay. Still popping on decal. I have gone through 2 PCIIIs and two dyno tune by two deferent tuners this did not take away the popping now I have a SERT and had that dyno tune the popping is still there when I had the PCIII on I add 20% at the 0 column this made the popping less I think that if I kept adding more fuel in this column it would go away.

 

Just got off the phone with Rush. They don't sell to the public, but since eglidegoodies.com didn't seem to want to fix the problem by taking back the old baffles and sending me new ones, Rush stepped up to the plate and is sending some new style baffles to me and didn't even suggest me sending back the old ones. They are fanfreakingtastick in my book.
