I have a set of vh slip ons on my 08 dyna. I love the look of a more stock style exhaust but wish it was a tad louder. It has stock baffles in there now with a optional competition baffle. Are those louder? Just wondering. When I look up images of stock and competition baffles they look the same minus the wrap but have different pn's. Thoughts?

 

If your baffles are wrapped, I'd unwrap them before spending money. The pipes will get louder. How loud depends on baffle design.

I have no idea if your 08 has a catalytic converter. If it does, remove that and the bike will get louder also.

 

No converter. But the stock baffle has no wrap. I just removed them to check. The competition has no wrap either. Just wondering if it's louder.
