Default Bassani baffle install

I cant get my Bassani baffle back in my Road Rage 2. I've read all the post on members getting it out the pipe but none about getting it back in. Is it just sliding back in for you? When I look in the pipe the baffle is just wont line up with the tapered end of the pipe. What am I doing wrong?

Remove the muffler then pound it in with a rubber mallet. It won't slide in easily with all that packing material around it.

Sometimes you have to remove some of the padding that is deep inside the muffler body. If you put too much in or didn't rewrap tight enough, it will interfere with the taper of the megaphone. But as it was mentioned before, a rubber mallet can help.

Yup.
I would wager that nobody on here has as much packing on their baffle as i do. I smacked it in with a dead blow hammer. Still removable with my small slide hammer
