I recently bought a set of second hand RC Blitz 4" slip ons and finally got around to putting them on along with a decatted head pipe last night. Took it for a ride and had a fair amount of decel popping. Came back and checked the exhaust for leaks and was thinking I had a lean condition. Then it hit me to check the baffles and low and behold, they are not in there. My fault for not looking in the first place. Moving on, does anyone know if I can get a set of replacement RC baffles or any baffles that will work with my setup? I was thinking BCT baffles but wasn't really sure how they would do without the factory baffles and also if they even make a set that will work with my setup. I appreciate any assistance with this.

 

Yes you should be able to get baffles from RC, they probably won't be cheap though. I just ordered a single replacement baffle for a customers V&H 450 muffler and with shipping it was over $90 dealer cost. It also took 10 weeks from the date of order to get to me, just one of the many reasons I don't recommend V&H. Call RC tomorrow and see how much the replacements are and how quickly you can get them...

What are you tuning the bike with?
