Default choke

Had a Mikuni put on my 2000FXST about 4 years ago. The choke **** has never stayed out on its own and always gets sucked back in. Assuming I may need to tighten the nut directly behind the choke knod that has what looks like 3 washers in front of it covered by a small rubber cover. anyone run into this issue???

Default RE: choke

Loosen the 11/16' nut on the back of the choke control cable where it mounts on the motor mt., On the out side of the mount there is a black round finger nut right behind the choke **** itself. Tighten that finger nut up till the choke cable stays where you put it...(its a friction nut)...then VERY carefully tighten the 11/16' nut on the back side of the choke cable on the motor mount. Isay be very careful because this choke cable is plastis and you will snap it if you get it too tight. You should be good to go now.

Good Luck
