Anyone have the SE ignition instead of the stock? Is it worth the $110 to bump up the red line 1,000 RPM?

I take it that your talking about a Sporty.... The sporty is a high rpm motor comparied to the Harley line of Big Twins.... the Sporty will continue to climb up to 6800rpm, with that ign, making power all the way up there...so yes it's worth it.

I got one and I would buy it again. The idle and lower rpm seem to run much smoother, no more stumble.

Local Harley dealer has a discontinued ignition for 20% off. The new part number is 31785-04A. The one for 20% off is 31785-04. He said it will work but should I be concerned?
