Howdy, I just installed short shots, ran the bike down the street and the check engine light came on. Ran two codes regarding o2 sensors. Didn't install new air cleaner or fuel system. Do I need to?

 

You'll still be running lean, but you shouldn't have any codes. Did you reverse the O2 sensors by accident? Also how is it running?

 

Thanks for the reply, I believe we put them on right. I'll double check. Also, when I ran the codes I called my dealer and they said both were reading o2. I could tell it was hotter than usual before they came on. Seems like everyone also installs new air intake and fuel management system when they do any mods?

 

Just pipes shouldn't throw an 02 code. Sure you didn't damage the sensors during the install?
