cfr exhaust
I am thinking about having the heads done with cams on my 09 streetglide.
Can the CFR slip on exhaust be dialed in with a good tuner or should it be put on a dyno and dialed in?
Will i still lose torque even if dialed in?I love the sound of the CFR'S and the looks of true duals.........
I have heard there is a dyno guy in Augusta,Me that is very good..I can't think of his name..
Perhaps someone can tell me who he is.
Peace and Prayers

I've been running CFR's with Rush duals a few years. Always tuned it with power vision with auto tune pro. Just built a 107" and added Big City Thunder baffles to the head pipes before the CFR's to help with more low end torque. They even sound better with the BCT baffles, even deeper growl and just as loud. Never had any problems tuning with them.

OP, I'm having the 110 tire shredder kit installed and having the V&H's headers and the CFR mufflers installed and my mechanic decided not to use the supplied cams but to go with the fairly new SE 585 cams. His opinion is that I my lose a few hp but gain in the lower end. These CFR's are like 4.5" at the tail end.

I have the CFR's on my build and yes you will lose a little low end torque I have them mated to a Cobra power port head pipe. If your chasing #'s then the CFR's probably are not for you but if you want a really aggressive sounding bike then the CFR's are the slip ons you want. I am happy with my set up. I had an very reputable engine builder build and tune it
