I did the stage one on the air intake, the V&H powerheader without the cat, V&H 450 mufflers and the second race tuner aND dyno tuned. All done and installed by the dealer. I didn't sign anything but the service order. The warranty was never mentioned.
If the upgrades were done at an H-D dealership, and entered into the moco computer, your factory and extended service plan are already void. If you have a powertrain failure, it will be up to the dealership to cover the cost, Harley-Davidson will not cover it.
If you don't believe it, just call the 800 number and ask.

That's not correct. If you have the Dealer install the "Stage 1" upgrades using their shop and by their employees, the MoCo warranty will remain in effect. This has been discussed over and over.

All that I see him saying is that he changed out is his air cleaner, headerpipe & mufflers, and a new tuning device. That's a "Stage1". The Dealers can install the H-D Street Legal "Stage 4" kit and still keep it under factory warranty.

If you read the fine print, the race tuner (or any non H-D tuner) is off road only use and will void the warranty. "Stage 4" kit to be cover by factory warranty must be purchased, and installed by dealership before delivery. We can go round and round about this subject, it comes down to the fine print, and how much the dealership is willing to back you.
I've got the race tuner and "Stage 4" upgrades on both bikes and the last part of your last sentence says it all. Not going to go round and round as I know better.
