V&h high output slip ons
Ok so I recently bought a set of v&h high output slip ons and took off my v&h dual slash cut slip ons. Well of course my dealer was talking them way up and told me all sorts of get things like it will boost some of my torque and hp and it will also be a deeper low rumble. So they did increase some torque and hp however they aren't loud at all. After they warm up they get a little louder and I know that after I get a few hundred miles on them they will get broke in and sound a little louder. However I want to know if theirs anything else that I can do to make them louder besides take out the baffles

I've considered that
However I'm not completely sure yet. I love the sound when I fire them up and I love the performance of them. I just don't really care to much for the sound at cruising speeds. They seem very quite while just cruising until I open her up. I'm just worried about other cars and animals not hearing me. With my dual slash cuts everybody heard me. I never heard my air breather sucking in air above second gear. However with these new HO's I hear it always.

The Big radius pipes 2 into 2 like on the picture of my softail are 104 decibels and the High Outputs are 103 ,102 area depending on tune. Just more of a deep tone, (rumble) if you will. Friends tell me the pipes sounds great. Don't change a thing.
Give em a chance man, if not sure you can sell/trade them in the classifieds here.
They just are not like that loud snap of exhaust. They are more like a deep bass.
Good luck man
