I've recently found that Thunderheader makes a Thundercone slip on for my 2014 Dyna Switchback.

However, the techs at my Harley dealership didn't know if I would need to upgrade my intake and do a Stage 1 tune.

Given the fact that it's a slip on does anyone have any knowledge if I can do the Slip ons without the upgrades?

You could do it but it's not advisable. I know of a few guys who have put slip-ons on their bike but didn't do the breather and were able to tune the bike. But if I were you I would just cough up the extra $125 and get a high flow for it.
