I have an S&S series E carb .It came witha round filter,paper,oiled and a foam wrap around.oiled.Can I use a dry filter or should I stay with an oiled one,such as a K&N or other?Prior to changing to an S&S filter,I would hear no "sucking" on starts.Now the "sucking air " is very prevalent on initial crank . In this case ,is more air good or am I getting less filtration ?It does seem to run better though.Filtration is a big concern with me as it an older scoot and in good shape and want to keep it that way.
