I HAVE A 20007 SOFTAIL FATBOY WITH CALIF. CATYLITIC CONVERTER. I NEED TO KNOW WHAT KIND OF BOTE-ON WILL LOUD THAN MY STOCK PIPES.

no baffles means pretty loud
short pipes and no baffles means really loud
short pipes, no baffles and pointed at the ground means super loud
long pipes with baffles loud

 

I added a set of Santee L.A.F pipes to my new ride and it added a little sound

 

Try the Vance and Hines Straight Shot Slip on mufflers for your softail. Just put some on my Low Rider and they are LOUD. Now I need to install the quiet baffle for them.
