Yup - the give-away is that type of clamp where the muffler joins the pipe, that was done away with around 1993.

Thank you both for confirming. The bike seems to be totally stock.
Now comes pulling the carb off again to get to the mixture screw. Not looking forward to it.

They make an angled screwdriver so that you don't have to take off the carb.
Back when I had a CV I just used a short screwdriver to adjust it without taking off the carb.

But I foolishly didn't drill out the metal plug covering the adjusting screw. I don't know if I can get that out without removing the carb.
Do you think there is room to drill it out while it is still on the bike?

I would take the carb off to do that.
