Well for Ohio it comes in at $5800 value trade in and $7940 retail value in excellent condition, imo I think he's high on the price, but that is just me.
I dunno tho after taking a look around on the net at prices he is lower than what I saw by a good margin.

$6,500 is fair especially since nothing is wrong with it and it looks good.

Pay the man, don't insult him.

Not to hijack thread, is there a setting in Craigslist that you can search just the selected state, instead of city by city?
End of hijack.

Nice looking bike. Around here, with low mileage like that the bike would fetch $7500-$8000 pretty easily on CL.

You can use this to search in craigslist in the whole state,
http://www.stateseek.com/ It works pretty good.

We are going up to his hanger so I can look the bike over again, if all looks as good as it did the first time it should be mine. He is going to tell me which days he will be up there, I'll take a day off of work for it if I need to.

Good luck! Hope it works out. $6500 is a good price. Not a smoking deal, but you're not getting shafted by any means.

The craigslist apps for iPhones work good for that purpose and there's a computer web site called search tempest that is pretty good too. Both will accomplish this.
