Brake light won't turn off

Assuming you correctly messed with the pedal then:
Start at the rear as it's easier for me. Check the two spade terminals. Are they both making good, solid contact? Grab your ohm meter or handy dandy multimeter and check for continuity across the two make spades. Open? It's the switch. Got tone? It's time to check the front.
T27??? And remove the wiring cover on the right side switches. Orange and red going to the switch is what you're looking for. Put the bike on but don't start it and depress the switch with your screwdriver. It's the brake light off? If it is then this can be ghettoed by electrical taping a set screw tightly and dropping it in where the plunger makes contact. To do it correctly then you can change the switch. Pay extra funking attention to the part of the instructions about a 5/32" piece of cardboard.
O.k.an good luck,
Tom

A lot of times throttle assembly with switch moves away from brake lever and then switch stays on.
It's amazing how many people won't accept that other people know what their talking about ,because they are on an older bike and they think they know their bike better or just have to here it from their own mechanic. Sorry this is the most common problem people don't think you know problem especially from twinkie owners.
