Default What is this thing?

Moving wires around to reconnect my broken tender wire and found this little electrical part. I can't locate it on the wiring diagram anywhere.

It looks like it was replaced there's a piece of shrink wrap right at the edge and it has one red and one black wire going into it.

What are the wires hooked up to? Might be some kind of stereo line filter.

Do you have stock blinkers? and/or was there ever non stock lighting on the bike?

I had something very similar stuffed in mine, the PO had those little DOSS blinkers on it and I was having issues with weak tail light voltage and other things.. took it out, put stock lights back on and no more issues...

It could be a load equalizer ... they only need two wires ( in most instances )

Thinking about cutting it open but I'll wait until I can find where it goes.

Do you have a security alarm? Might be an antenna for remote or fobs?
