Yes that's the part, looked more like a factory flaw to me, but of course I don't know.

Any one know if the stabilizer tab on that mount is supposed to be centered or offset?

Well winter is headed to these parts, and riding is coming to an end soon.
So I thought I'd update this, in case anyone is still interested.

Since my alignment, and new motor mount I've done 700 mi, so far so good, still tight, and not broken.

Maybe that was the problem.
Hope so.

I hope I have, 700mi is not a long enough test, but like I said winter is on the way, so I thought I'd update, for Old-Evo in particular.

Thanks for the update. I'm going to see my Indy next Saturday to talk to him more about this issue, and a rear belt replacement that I'm due to get done.

Just shy of 900mi now, starting to feel good about this.

Fine thread bolts hold tighter and tend to loosen up less often. You obviously have something wrong up there. Perhaps alignment, front motor mount too tight, front motor
mount twisted, perhaps the wrong front motor mount or something wrong with the top mount allowing the engine to twist. We use the stiffer Buell front isolator in our touring bikes, perhaps that might help ?? Check the alignment yourself according to the manual.

Hopefully you see this John. I looked for that Buell part number and did not see it. Is it fit the evo sporty motor or is it the Rotax?
Thanks,
Tom

I think you missed some of the posts, I did some of those things, and was trying to state that I may have fixed the issue.

This was mainly for the other guy with the same problem.

Thanks for the Buell tip though.

As far as the Buell part number goes maybe check over at

Hey TV, read this, but remember it's from the Touring Forum so there is a lot of ignorance. (Not trying to contradict John)
