Would it be better (meaning easier and and CHEAPER) to leave as is? Or, if he's gonna have to fab new brackets or rework the welds for older, original stuff, should Kino just go for 1997 - 2008 parts as they are literally all over ebay and craig's??

the covers are part # 47551-79A & 47552-79A if you want to put bags back on it your going to need a lot more than that

this is what its suppose to look like from 1981 to mid 90's you need to do some fab work to put it back so you can mount the bags the rear plate mount slides into the tubes that have been cut off they are held in by rivets

rear rack
I may just fab that rear rack so it comes in closer and lower may chop the rack off or just sell it im pretty ingenuitive dont like anything sticking up in the back I like that clean look not going to put a top bag on the back dont like the look

Yay I took all that junk off, only have the chrome covers, those tubes look like 91 to 96 type. And moved my plate under the tail light to give it that clean fender look. Running no rack, but your welcome to it if you decide on a tour pack mount. Pm if you do
