Default 86-99 softail fxstc fender strut covers w/o turn signal holes?

I have a 92 fxstc with the bobtail fender and haven't had any luck finding rear strut covers w/o the turn signal holes. I can't use the smooth models b/c I won't be able to mount my sissy bar & I don't want to use a plug to cover the hole b/c it doesn't look good imo. Are they interchangeable w/ any other HD model strut covers? Any suggestions?

They are somewhat interchangeable but the main difference between the skinny tire twincam ones are the different size holes that may not fit the ones on your frame. I have tried this as well. They do make covers for the turn signal holes though

Instead of using a plug what we do is put a chrome button head bolt in there. It looks smooth and is better looking than a hole plug!!

I didn't mean an actual hole plug; was just referring to the caps Ive seen used before. I thought about using a button head bolt but thought it might throw off the flow. I guess I'll experiment next week when I get it back from the shop. New ev27 cam, chrome sliders, + other goodies......

All you have to do is get strut covers from a model that did not mount the turn signals on the struts....no problem.
