Default fall way method for neck bearings

I removed my forks to upgrade with Progressive springs and also inspected the neck bearings. I have read about the fall away method in my manual, watched a few videos, and read some posts. Is the fall away method the best for adjusting the neck bearings? Any suggestions? thanks

The manual method has always been the best for me as I have not pioneered my own method. Just don't over tighten it
