Default Brake Upgrade with pics

Well I had a warped rotor on my Lowrider and even though it's a Twin Cam it's an early one so had the Evo calipers.

A mate gave me a set of 1996 Honda Fireblade Calipers, with adapters and some oversize fully floating rotors (made by "Braking" part #HD330RFD)

...so today, being a slow sort of day I skipped the day job and spent an hour fitting them.

They are some big-as rotors...

And I love the way they look!

On the road they are nice and progressive with some serious stopping power when you give it a handful......happy bunny and all it cost me was 5 bucks for some bolts and a couple of hours in my mate's garage getting his bike ready for its warrant of fitness

I needed a new syringe to reverse-bleed them as my old one was poked....this is the actual conversation I had with the local Veterinarian..

Me to Vet: "Can I buy a syringe please?"
Vet: "It depends what you want it for"
Me: "To bleed the brakes on my Harley"
Vet: "I can only sell you a syringe for animal purposes"
Me: "I am going to inject my cat with brake fluid"
Vet: "That's fine, what size do you want?"

WTF????

Yeah, best thing was, the original brake pipes fit the calipers!

Those big discs look mad as with the small diameter wheel.
Did you just use the stock master cylinder?
I had thought of going a little smaller m/cyl after I fitted the Jap calipers but since riding it a bit, dont think there is the need.

Got some major clamp down now!
Nice when stuff just bolts right on, looks like the front end mods are done,
what's in the crosshairs next?

Stock m/cyl, it works just fine as I don't want the brakes to be too sharp as my drive is steep and gravel.
