Default You know what really gets me mad?

Its when you buy aftermarket parts that are supposed to fit your bike and they are so badly made that you have to get an engineer to remanufacture some parts before you can use them!!!

I got some rear footboards for my Lowrider and to say they are ***** would be an acclaim of which they are unworthy.....it takes as much work to make something that fits as it does to make something that doesn't fit!!

Shame on you Catalyst Cycles....you wasted $108 of my hard-earned dollars you cheapass ****'s...

Default I Agree

Being a machinist & making precision parts every night, I know what you mean. Quality & craftsmenship are not there , anymore. Seem's like a lot of aftermarket company's are out for a quick dollar & don't care about return business.I hate when I buy a new part for the Lowrider, cuz I know I'll probably have to modify & make it fit the way it should. I'm glad of my profession, because this stuff could get expensive!
Ride Safe,
Harold

I was sure you were going to say erectile dysfunction.

When I had a big old 4x4 Toyota I bought some Trail Gear ****, none of it fit without modification. Super frustrating.

That's what we get for buying cheap junk that's made in china (yes that's a lower case c ).

I'm waiting to see how my brackets to eliminate the chrome guard for my saddlebags fit. Harley wanted $145, found them aftermarket for $40. I guess I am the cheap ****, but that is no excuse for them not to fit.

"Bolt-on" is just a marketing concept.

That's the relevant bit of your quote!

.....that's made in china (yes that's a lower case c ).
That bit gets repeated often on HDF, but is not deserved. It is the customer who specifies the quality of what he gets, whether it is from the Chinese, Americans, whoever. Current Harley wheels are Chinese, for example!

I have yet to buy any Chinese product that stood the test of time.

I have also bought stuff made here that doesn't work so it isn't all China's fault.

You should see my 100mm Chinese binoculars! They're great, although further enhanced by my genuwine American eyepieces! The computer you're working on is probably Chinese, plus your cell-phone, tv, etc......
