I don't know what year you have, but my 93 (bought new)started weeping under the front jug when it was still under the extended warranty. The HD mechanic said it was a weep and not a leak so HD wouldn't do anything with it. I was pissed and walked away before I lost it, he walked back over to me about 10 minutes later and told me he was going to tell Harley both jugs were leaking and he replaced all the gaskets from the bottom up with the newer version. He said the 94's had different (aka better ) gaskets. Hasn't weeped since. That being said, like the others posted it won't hurt anything. Just keep an eye on the oil level like normal.

Not uncommon no big deal .
Often caused by not allowing EVO to warm up enough before riding hard.
Yes I own an EVO 1996 I do warm it up to this day no weeping from the gaskets.

You didn't oil your air filter element lately did you?
I nearly got suckered by that one.
K&N air filter if over-oiled drips right down on the lifters and runs over to the base gasket area on the sidestand, and seems to get blown there by the wind.

Easy to check by running a finger around the bottom of the airfilter and look for oil.

I couldn't believe my luck when the legendary oil seep was that easily fixed.

I just got mine back together with new Cometic gaskets. Wouldn't you know it that my rear base gasket leaks some. I hope it goes away over time, but I will need to watch it.
