to be honest, just ride and wipe as Kees says but... I would like to replace them as soon as i had some downtime. it is a 2 day job, 1 for disassembly and cleaning then day 2 for reassembly and a shakedown. most wrenches in here can do it in 6 hours start to finish.
i did the softail in James gaskets and it came out wonderful. the road glide is getting Cometics as that is what my local indie had in stock, same price.
