Default Jugs

Now that I have your attention

Anyone got a spare cylinder laying around?? In my infinite wisdom, I took for granted that since the bike was running good and not smoking or burning oil, I'd just scuff em up and add new pistons.. Now with pistons in hand, I'm thinking it may be more cost effective to get a replacement than to send these out for machining and new pistons.. Thoughts and opinions are welcome... .010" would clean it up, but then my new shiny pistons wont fit...

Actually, I'm thinking they should all be the same '83-'98, but I'm working on my '95 Ultra.. Shoot me a PM with the info and what you want for em, please..
Thanks,

Am I seeing a big, deep groove in the upper left in the pic?

Yea, no heat cracks, but that gouge is bad enough.. Actually, may take more than .010.. Damndest thing though, the piston and rings look fine.. Some scuffing on the skirt, but no witness mark.. I have no idea how it didn't smoke..

Much appreciated, I'll have to keep that in mind. What brand and compression are they?

Not sure if you've been following my project, but my plan has been 10:1 with a EVL3020.. Got the pistons already and trying to keep em. Thought I might be able to buy a bastard cylinder for less than boring.. Worth looking anyhow..
