86 liberty classic starter problem
Alamondm, I'm using a All ***** starter and have had xlnt service from it.
I don't know if this the right one for you or not, I just know it's worked
well for me for 1 1/2 years. I'm sure you'll get other suggestions. Give All
***** a call, here is their link for Hitachi or Prestolite starters which I
think your'e running. http://www.allballsracing.com/80-1007.html

The only thing I know about a started clutch is that when it "starts" to go, it's time to replace it. This isn't one of those things that you would try to milk the rest of the riding season on. Once it's gone, it's gone and you'll be stuck somewhere looking for a tow truck. Don't ask me how I know that.
