Default Rear tire wear

My front tire looks brand new but the front end is kinda "bouncy" at certain speeds.

Would the condition of my rear tire cause the "bounce?"

The strip of tyre around the circumference that hasn't touched the road when leaning over into corners...ie. too chicken to lean the bike over lol

LOL! That's funny. I'm guilty of that. But anyway, is that tire as cupped as it looks? Why are you running with that tire?

Well, considering that I've only ridden the bike 2k miles, and I LOVE to lean in the corners, I guess the PO was the "chicken."

Anyway, my question goes unanswered...........

You should have seen the tyre on the back of the bike when I bought it..it was almost square...and it handled like crap, with the help of spanners we found the swing arm rubber bushes were worn and one had come away from the steel plate, so effectively only one side was attached to the frame. No wonder the PO didn't lean into corners because it was like spaghetti. Now with a new tyre and bushes it handles and only a 3/8" chicken strip lol until I scrub the tyre in.

I think your front end bounce may be due to fork oil or needing progressive springs. Your fat *** should keep the back end down...but you need a rear tyre IMHO.
