Beautiful TD. Now go out and get it dirty like the rest of us. LOL. I like Dr. Hess live on a 1/3 mile of sand/gravel/dirt to the hiway. I try to wash mine twice a year but sometimes only once. I use to do it more often but not so much anymore. I am starting to like the patina from bugs and dirt almost as much as clean and shiney. The old Softail Custom has more character when not so shiney. Funny how these things happen.

Washing once or twice a year? I would be in the funny farm for sure! Heck, if the weather is bad for a couple days, the thin layer of dust that accumulates drives me bonkers.

So he can afford a car like that! In fact Dr H suffers a very severe affliction - I understand he also has other Lotii.....

They're really not that expensive. Cheaper than a new truck, certainly. And what you callin' "rickety"?

My Evo does everything I ask. Passes most twinkies on the road, especially at altitude.

I used to be like that.I now do a complete clean and detail every spring.8 hrs of cleaning is 8 hrs I'm not riding.
I'll throw a dust cover over her now just to keep it reasonably shiny.
I will admit though, when I got home from ICU on Monday and she was uncovered,I had a sudden urge to clean,,,,,but that went away real quick when I thought of the effort needed.

Default Finally found a "safe" sidewall protectant

Make them nice and shiney black too! It's called "Harley Black".

Stains the fingers and anything else it touches though.....

If you were closer, I'd be honored to detail her for you after what you've been through.

First they make rubber gloves to keep your hands clean when messing with something like that.

Second think how much riding you could have gotten in if you rode instead of cleaned!!!
