Default Spyke or Compufire Coil

Is the Spyke coil any better than a Compufire coil when running a Compufire ignition.

The Spyke advertising states up to 80,000 volts and Compufire states 45,000, if either is true.

My current Compufire coil works fine, but I got to wondering if I might benefit from the Spyke. Also got to wondering if the Spyke was compatible, might 80,000 volts produce excessive heat, or damage the ignition, etc.

Your thoughts appreciated.

No amount of coil volts is gonna make your bike any better or faster or smoother......
