Default Single fire wires to coil

May be a dumb question but..... I just got my motor back together after doing base gaskets n head job. I see my coil isn't marked F n R for spark plug wires. Does it matter which plug goes to which coil "inlet"?? I checked my kids Twinkie and his coil is marked F n R. Just wandering if the wires are on wrong plugs what would happen?
1989 FLHS Dyna single Samson true duals, pretty much stock

Thanks in advance,
Mike

No difference on the EVO. Both plugs fire at the same time.
The EFI Twinkies are Sequential Point Fuel Injection. In other words, the plugs fire separately.
Front fires only the front. And the rear fires only the rear.

If the subject from the OP is correct, "Single Fire" then you have to get them on the correct terminals. Are there three terminals on the coil? One hot wire, a front and a back wire. Three wires means single fire if I'm not mistaken.

If it is the stock coil nothing would happen as they both fire at the same time.

How did this get so off?
The OP has a single fire ignition and wants to know where the plug wires go onto the coil! A single fire coil is different than stock.

I will check tomorrow, but I believe the front wire goes onto the left, and the rear goes onto the right.

Thanks. What would happen if they were on the wrong coil plug-spark plug? I suppose it would run would fit on wrong cylinder.

Nope it won't run if you don't have the plug wires right.
With a single fire coil you have to have things right.

With a stock coil it doesn't matter.

I was hoping that was the case! Fired it up with no problem and sounds really good.
