Just looking into the future really. Won't do it until my house is paid off but that RK really caught my eye for sure.
Kinda funny, I hate salesman. Trying to pass on items that the Evo section already knows about a bike being an extension of the owner.

That bike does catch your eye so good luck, maybe it won't sell and lower the price some.

It's an EVO. It's got a Carb. It's a winner.

I hear you. My buddy with his 02 RK drools over them all the time. Offered me to trade with his 02 RK classic bags. That ain't happening. I dig the "V"

Also have to chime in on finding bikes in far away places that can save you a thousand or two. Shipping or traveling to get the bike eats into the savings as well. Plus the fact that you damn near have to buy the thing without seeing it in person. Not worth it in my book. If I knew some yahoo was flying to see my bike I can assure you it would factor in my negotiation stance.

Harleys are a escape from the daily grind, no better way to escape expecially riding a kicka$$ bike so I'm on the other side of the fence.

RK's are flexable, can look sleek solo or load them with wife, wifes junk and run distance with some comfort. Evo engine adds soul to a RK and you will notice that right away. Will take a Evo RK over a $23,000 103" Street Glide any day, have rode both and a easy decision.

Bottom line is, that bike is gorgous - is it you.
Your going to spend 2-3 grand to personalize no matter what
Totally agree with ya here!!!!

Not suggesting OP travel to a far away place, there are deals in every city/town. Why would your stance be any different as far as selling the bike no matter where a buyer would come from? Cash is cash.
OP in the end we are just looking and speculating on a picture and what someone trying to make $$ is saying about it. Anyone who has been around realizes how good/different things can look in a pic rather than in person. How long has it been for sale? Has he lowered the asking price on CL once already? Go check it out. Hope it works out for you!

There are things to factor in. Like it is a color that you like. It looks like it has been well cared for. Personally I would pay extra for a carbed EVO over anything else. If it has close to new tires thats a few hundred right there. And those whitewalls are not cheap. If I was looking for one like that I would jump on it and maybe offer $8,100 and see where that goes. Good luck.

I got my 95RK for 5,500. clean and worth every penny. I put 500 miles a week on her and all shes needed was gas and oil. Prices in AZ seem to be a bit lower on bikes so maybe looking in other places is a good idea. But if its what you want get it. Still cheap miles and fun you cant put a price on.

Go look at it and pay the price you feel doesn't hurt. Or expand your radius and you will find some good deals with less miles. What I like about it is the guys garage. You can see he is handy and took care of it.
