I've had one on my bike since '95.. Honestly, cant say it works or doesn't because I haven't had case or primary issues.. So, maybe it does work??
Seriously, the idea is pretty sound from my perspective. The Dyna is said to be susceptible to flex in the left side case and primary area when you increase the performance. The primary adds strength to the left, but the right just hangs in the breeze.. This is made an issue due to the rubber mount design.. This isn't the case on the Softtail due to the solid mounts found on the Softtail. If you're going to be putting more power to the ground, I think its a good idea.. It adds that third leg of the triangle, for support..
