EFI and EVO History

Magnetti Marelli EFI was an option in 1995 on the Ultra plus the Tour Glide. The same EFI was also found on the 1999-2002 and very early 2003 Touring models. The only differences was the Twin Cams came with red injectors as the EVO came with black injectors.
Not a bad system.....just very unforvgiving if you don't know what you're doing.

I didn't really clarify what I was saying....2002 was a transition year for the MM to Delphi EFI in the touring models. Many of the Delphi models also had MM fuel tanks with dual outlet and one of the outlets blocked off, some were still like that in 2003. Softails never had the MM and had Delphi starting in 2001. Dyna models were the last to receive EFI until 2004 and it was Delphi.
