Yeah, your stator is OK if you get 13.8-ish with it running. And your voltage regulator.
So, sounds ignition to me. Put a screwdriver in the end of a spark plug cable, hold the screwdriver shaft near the motor, crank and look for a spark. I suggest you use a plastic handle screwdriver and only hold the plastic part, but most people figure that out after the the first time. If no spark, it's either coil, pickup, ignition module or the wires between, and it sounds thermal. There are tests for each of those.

Jesus, Nick. How many times you gonna post that? Another oft o'er look thing that can cause that issue is a blocked tank vent. As you draw fuel, a vacuum builds in the tank until fuel stops flowing. Crack the cap and it starts up and goes again. The more full the tank, the shorter ride before it stalls.

WOW a ton of replies, thank you everyone. so just an update yes it passed the charging system test, im a little sketchy on the whole "hold a scewdriver trick" although i know that will work, im gonna pick up a spark tester (mine walked away) it basically snaps in between the plug wire and the plug giving you a viewable window to see if there is spark without chance of shocking yourself, i tried to start the bike today just to see if it would fire but it just cranks, i can smell the fuel and notice a deeper tone when throttle applied while cranking, if spark test fails im gonna try and have my buddy bring his coil off his bike over so i can try it just to rule that out unfortunately only one of my buddies ride a harley most of the others still ride crotch rockets, i had my fun goin fast cutting lanes im done with rice im ready for steak lol, so all in all im gonna do the spark test and go from there, ill post an update as soon as i can, thanks again for all your help.

Really? How do u test a coil on a 2003 FLSTFI? Service manual doesn't have a test.. I'm having a no spark condition as I posted in another thread (No Spark! Coil? Module?) and before I spend $$ on components, I'd like to get a diagnosis. Aside from, "You have a bi-polar disorder". Beat you all to it.

The coil tests are continuity/resistance tests.
