I already ordered the cam, just wondering if anyone on here has a sound clip of it in their bike?

Had that cam in my last 94 wg ran very strong and had a radical idle but smoothed right out with twisting the throttle. S&S e carb was hooked to it whatever that may make.

Yes that cam is fairly quiet, may get a very faint tick at 1500 rpm but that can be adj out with the pushrod adj. I loved that radical idle I had, sound like a drag bike. I may go back to that cam depending how my build turns out. Mine ought to be done in a week or so. Good luck.

I think you would like it. It's got a slightly higher lift than the ev27. I think the ev27 is .495 and the thunder is .510 if my pornographic memory serves me. Both are bolt in without being overly stressful on the valve train.
