Take the dynojet kit out put the stock pieces back in with an'88 sportster needle and go have fun. You may need to go one size larger with the low speed jet too.

do not have any stock pieces guys. nearest I can tell is it was some knock off kit. I took the carb off and back apart. soaked in warm soapy water and then rinsed very well and blew out all the ports with compressed air. started reassembling and found the float was way out of adjustment and i think the needle seat was in upside down ( the needle that is in the slide). and my fault my jets are #45 and #185. Next im going to take the intake manifold off and replace the seals there. but that will be for tomorrow. keeping my fingers crossed.

While you have it that far apart, make sure the VOES vac line is in good shape..

Thanks Doug S will definatly do that. gonna check the coil as well and also change out the plugs.

I just had this problem on my bike. Turns out the plugs were all messed up. Swap them out and see if that makes a difference...
