Nice color Graham. As has been mentioned decals can be repopped. They may not be original, but neither is Fiat Blue on a Harley. I have always admired your bike, and what you have done with her. Truly a work in progress.

Thumbs up

FIAT paint is fine, but those decals had to be original, that was part of my contract with me, when starting this! I won't be repainting it again, having had so much trouble finding them......

Saddlebags are back from my painter and now fully dressed in their best party bling. They are ready to bolt on, so I can put them aside for now. This time last year we had low 60s temperatures, but it is still around freezing at present and no sign of a let-up. Makes working in an unheated garage bloomin' difficult!

I bought a set of the fancy flush buttons, intending to do away with the big pucks, but then discovered the they have no weather protection. The pucks are hollow and have neat rubber seals inside, so I feel they are much better suited to our weather. I also like the way the pucks pull the lid closed, seems more girl friendly! I am pleased to report my original 1990 saddlebag locks swapped right over.
