Scott, I currently have the rear fender (not very exciting!) and fork shrouds (tin covers, even less exciting), more parts due this afternoon.

Looks good.
I like blue.
Is that the original black paint on the underside of the front fender or have you undercoated it for rust control?

Well the light didn't last long and it's snowing again. However I now have the side panels and headlamp panel, just the gas tank and saddlebags to go!

The painter has painted the back of everything black, so it is new paint. You can see the shiny bright screws holding on the chrome strips. Rust control?! I reckon these will outlast me now, having seen how the original fenders lasted.

Make sure you post before and after pics.
It would be intersting.

Good looking blue by the way.

Mike, will do. When I get the tank back I can take a shot of the old and new beside each other. That will probably give the best impression of the two blues - as well as the difference in size of the two tanks.

Hi Paul, very much in bits at present! Here are my newly painted blue parts, so far. We had a little sun today, so I could take a couple of pics, although it didn't last long.

Fortunately I can spend some time indoors preparing them all for fitting back on the bike, while the weather hopefully warms up. It is at last above freezing today, and due to get even warmer over the next few days, so these poor ole bones can get out in the garage and start putting things back together.
