$$$$$$$$????????
1999 Heritage Classic. Mint and loaded. 15k miles. Stock evo. One lady owner asking $10k. KBB asking dealer price shows $8,315 NADA avg. retail is $8,000. Any words of wisdom before I negotiate or on this particular bike in general? I was thinking $7,000-8,000 would be a good buy, am I being realistic? Thanks

Lots of low milage bikes out there, 8K is too much and the fact that she is asking 10 tells me she is not being realistic, does not really want to sell it, and/or does not need to sell it. Make your best cash offer and keep on going if she does not take it. Don't fall in love with it until you settle on a price...

The 99's were great bikes being the last year for the EVO. It is worth what ever you think it is worth. I don't mind paying a little more for something special, but I probably would not go over $8,500. If it has been sitting for a while it will probably need new tires. Just as a comparison, I got my 99 Softail Custom 4 years ago for $7,100 with 17,000 miles on it. But that was way below what they were selling for at the time. Generally Heritages go for more money than Customs.

Offer 6.5-7k and see what she says.
If she gets offended just walk away.
If you really like the bike show her the NADA guide on it. Then let the dickering commence.
I have a friend who said her 85 sporty was worth 7k. She was certain of it.
Sometimes people have an inflated view of things and nothing will change their mind.
10k is too much. IMHO

Gotta agree with the rationale that everyone is posting. Probably in the $7800-$8200 range would make it a good deal.
I own a 93 FLHS, and it's probably only worth $5500-$6500 on a good day. But hell, I only paid $11,500 for it new. So after 20 years that's not bad depreciation. I'm not selling, 'cause I've owned it since new, and it's part of the family. My son will get it when I can't ride it.
