While I have a S&S Super E and love it I would ask you one thing.
Does your carb work?
If yes then leave it alone.
If no then change it.

While the S&S uses more fuel than my stock one it runs a whole lot better.

When I commute I get about 48 MPG with my Super e. That's not bad for an evo with a cam and stroked crank.

I wish I could tell you. The PO had the carb set up. I've had it about 5 years and I had to replace the accelerator pump and the inlet needle, but other than that it just runs good. I'm sold on the super E.

Damn I wish you knew what was in that carb.

I'm only getting about 39 mpg but it sure does run good.

I would hope that you mean you had a Super G on your 127, not a Super E.

very simple to drop the float bowl and check out the intermediate and main jets.

I have a super G on a 11" chopper and a super E on a 80" evo. both run great and are simple to tune.
