Hey Spanner, just got the link to the drive belt photos, JUST the one tip about remembering to remove the primary chain block after putting on the clutch and compensator nut made this a worthwhile SERIES!!!!!!

Glad to have saved a brother some pain....the blocks should be fluoro orange, then nobody would forget

Run into previous one owner of my bike every now and then, i gotta ask if he already did this, looks to be more work than the motor swap! belt doesnt look bad.....

Spanners, these threads are freakin awesome man.. Thanks a bunch. When the time comes for me to do this job I will have to deal with the tapered main shaft. That part I dread but, when it's needed I intend to do the job myself. Thanks again.

Thank you Spanners. With this tutorial I'll be able to do this next spring.
One question, what kind of shape was that rear pulley in? Mine's a bit nicked up but the teeth don't look worn or misshaped. There's about 15 chips like this or smaller spread out around the pulley.

I have used worse but if you have the cash then swap it out, if not then just file the chips smooth...will last for ages.
