Not sure if they'll fit, but I'm getting ready to sell my hard bags off my '98 FLHR. They are primered black, need new locks but the bags are in good shape.

If you ask for aftermarket inexpensive set, look at http://www.mutazu.com
They make different sets of hard saddlebags.

Well I hadn't really thought about it, hows about $150+shipping. If you need it I'll throw in the mounting hardware too. They need a good cleaning, and the latches work but you'll need to replace them in the near future (they are kinda floppy).

If you find a set of complete OEM Harley bags with no damage for $300, you better buy them immediately ...most used sets are more than that.

Looks like they might be the newer style. I need the set that has the battery notch out of the right side bag unless someone has figured out a way to retro a newer set. I have an OEM tank off an 87 FLHTC with key and lock that I should sell. Any idea of the value of that? Would be willing to trade that but my guess is there are a whole lot more tanks out there than bag sets!

I'll take them for $150 plus shipping and sell my bags to him for $125 plus shipping.

What do yall think? Everyone wins, my present bags have the battery cut out.

We have threads in here about fitting later bags, which involves relocating the battery under the seat. Between us we have done that various ways, but it is not a quick and simple job.
